Kimberly Castrodale
Kimberly Castrodale is an abstract artist and mother, always seeking to bring more play and curiosity into each day. Residing in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kimberly's studio is a place where her daughters can make a mess right alongside her. Through this mingling, she has come to embrace that her work evolves at a slow pace as creativity flows into her family. With paint, pastel & pencil, Kimberly is currently exploring the relationship between mothering and nature. Using abstraction, loose sketches and blocks of colors, she aims to capture the ways we wither, dance, yearn and grow. Her paintings are inspired by lingering in nature and the tiny bouquets that fill her daughter’s hands and therefore, her home.
Kimberly's paintings truly come from her home to yours— in the company of pouring coffee, stacking blocks, and singing off-key. She hopes her art allows you to connect: to the beauty found in our ordinary days, where imagination & growth live within us all.
