Meet Walter..,but most know him as Big Blue,
Tall and steady on his long, wiry legs, Walter stands anchored on his rock like he owns the shoreline. His blue body rises up with quiet confidence, and those wispy head and shoulder feathers give him that slightly untamed, wind-swept look.
He’s the pond patrol. The early riser. The one who notices every ripple and every splash. Nothing gets past him. There’s patience in the way he stands, but also readiness — like he could take one precise step and change the whole scene.
Big Blue doesn’t pace. He posts up.
