There’s something about the marsh that always feels like a quiet invitation to slow down and trust the direction you’re being led.
This piece has a softer sense of movement to me. The winding water, distant horizon, and lone egret create the feeling of moving gently forward without forcing the path ahead. I’ve always loved marshes for that reason. They remind me that life doesn’t always unfold in sharp lines or perfect clarity. Sometimes the beauty is found in simply continuing toward the light.
Painted in layered blues, soft greens, and moody neutrals, this original was created to bring a sense of calm, reflection, and grounded peace into a space.
